Not everyone knows this, but Max, the owner and operator of Fancy Groceries, started a farmers market on our street in October of 2025 in all his spare time (haha). Our downtown is a bit of a food desert, and Max (who weirdly loves event planning) saw an opportunity to bring local farmers, bakers, and food truck owners to downtown residents on Sunday mornings.
Just like Fancy Groceries, it started small but has quickly grown into an incredible community gathering month after month. The market is entirely funded by Max, two local residents, and three downtown businesses so we made this bag to help support Trade Street and keep the market up and running!
Your purchase will go toward things like signage, tables, branding, flyers, paying live musicians, cable covers to protect folks from tripping over cords, rewarding volunteers, signs pointing folks toward the restrooms... You know, all the things you think about when you go to a farmers market.
