We’re a small team of 3 packing your order by hand—carefully folding every piece, adding a handwritten note, and sending it off like a little care package. (Another reason we're great for gifting!)
Shipping
We ship orders on Mondays and Tuesdays only. This rhythm helps us stay human in an industry that often feels automated.
Once your order is on its way, you’ll get a tracking number so you can follow along. If you have questions in the meantime, we’re happy to help.
Returns
We stand by everything we carry. If it's at Fancy Groceries, you can be sure Max either wears and uses it himself, and/or has rigorously put it through the wringer, researched the production and origin, and can ensure these pieces are meant to be worn hard, loved deeply, and maybe even passed down one day.
✅ In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in person can be returned in-store for store credit within 14 days. We ask that returns come back unworn, unwashed, with original tags intact.
✅ Online Orders
While some online purchases are final sale, most purchases can be returned for store credit only. This credit can be used online or in person at our shop located at 562 N Trade Street in Winston Salem, NC. We encourage you to reach out before purchasing if you’re unsure about sizing, fit, or fabric—we love talking shop and want you to feel confident about what you’re getting.
Why Store Credit Only?
Big box stores like Target and Walmart and Amazon have made returns so commonplace, we sometimes forget that the smaller independent stores are impacted differently. When you return a $100 purchase to Amazon, it's not coming out of Jeff's personal checking account. For a small business like ours, every cent counts and is accounted for because this store is our livelihood and we count on your purchases to keep the lights on, which means you can count on us for exceptional customer service every time.
