Imogene + Willie
In 2009, Matt and Carrie Eddmenson transformed a 1950s service station in Nashville’s 12 South neighborhood into the home of Imogene + Willie. Their mission was straightforward: craft the perfect pair of jeans, made in the USA, with a commitment to quality and community.
Launching with just two fits—the "Imogene" for women and the "Willie" for men—they aimed to sell 250 pairs. An email to friends and family quickly turned into a nationwide demand, setting the stage for a brand that would resonate far beyond Tennessee.
Imogene + Willie’s dedication to American manufacturing is evident in every stitch. Their garments are cut and sewn in their Los Angeles workshop, utilizing premium fabrics from domestic mills like Vidalia Mills in Louisiana and American Woolen Company in Massachusetts.
